FRETNATION.COM is UP formerly BASS STRINGS ONLINE

any idea what's going on with Jason these days? I'm chatting with the bass strings online facebook page and everything reeks of a scam, even though they claimed to be Jason from Chicago. I've spoken to Jason many times in the past and the current language - nor product knowledge - just doesn't add up. his (seemingly) legitimate account here going "inactive" makes me cautious, though. assuming it doesn't violate one of TB's draconian policies, are we all still settled that FN is legit?

Jason from Fret Nation is in California. No idea about this group, but maybe contact him directly through email and ask? I've been dealing with him pretty consistently.

I communicate with Jason off and on through email. [email protected]. My last email to him was back in Oct 2021.

He’s been “inactive” here for a few years. We aren’t free to speculate on mod decisions though. However, I’ve heard others being his customers much more recently than the TB status change, so that is unrelated to any irregularities you are worried about, @Apolicious

perfect. I just have a sentimental attachment to Jason, and the internet is a confusing place.

Jason was a huge help setting me up with singles and odd requests.

FretNation is my “go to” string supplier.

The website works fine and emails are answered promptly. Covid put some kinks in supply lines and Jason was great about shipping items quickly if in stock, and communicating about items that would be delayed.

Jason is also a Dingwall dealer. Plus the bonus point system, email alerts on specials, and fast, free shipping.

Yep, I’m a fan!
