Hey everyone,
I've been playing bass for about 4 or 5 years now. I'm mostly self-thought though and now my bad technique really needs to change.
I've been having alot of wrist pains and I know these are caused by my technique, so I started playing more carefully (wrist behind the neck and the first and second finger, relaxed position, one finger per fret, ...) and that's been going great except...
When I'm in first position (around the open and first 4 frets) my frest *EDIT: obviously my wrist* always has a crooked angle. This corrects itself when I go higher up to the fretboard but I'm not sure how I can change this angle when I'm near the first frets of my bass.
Any opinions?
