A while back, I ended up with a Harley Benton JB-20 that was DOA.
A dear friend and great luthier helped me bring it back to life… and then some! Here’s a video:

Love the finish! Seafoam over Sunburst is my favorite / some-day"" finish (ever since I saw one by Jazzman on ebay about 5 years ago....
(Sonic Blue is close enough though)

About the pickguard: Per (the luthier) found a slab of leftover tort in his shop which he used. I’ll ask if he knows what kind it was

From the thumbnail and video title I imagined I'd see the restoration of a bass guitar.
I started skipping through the video after about a minute and there was a guy with a bass on his lap telling me how great it is.
I don't need YouTube for that, all it takes is a mirror.
