FS: 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz (Passive)

    SOLD!

    Since getting my 5'er, I've decided to make the transition to 100% 5-string play. I'm not interested in trades at the moment. Better pics will most likely be coming this evening, as I'm waiting for my camera to charge.

    Perfect, with the exception of a tiny imperfection above the pick-guard (not visible from more than a foot or two), and a very minor scratch on the control plate, which were there when I got it. It played exactly as I was looking for at the time, so I overlooked the very minor issues. It's about 45-60 days old. Sticker is no longer on pick-guard.

    Includes original hardshell case (the new SKB ones!) and case candy. It's the new Blizzard Pearl color with rosewood.

    Yeah, this really is a great bass. Unfortunately, I over-extended myself quite a bit when I purchased my first "real" rig, so it's got to go. :crying:

    A great guy to deal with! I liked my 2008 AmStd JB so much I bought a 2008 AmStd Precision too! Fender got back on track with these new 08s. They also have the nicest hard SKB/Fender cases I've seen and very lightweight.

    Welp, this thread has been viewed 400 times, so I'm going to assume the issue is price. Dropped to $900 shipped within CONUS!

    Couple PM's have come in, but no takers yet. I'm probably going to leave it up for sale until the weekend (on here + eBay), and then hold onto it if it doesn't sell.

    Actually, if it were white\tort\rosewood or black\maple, I'd already be back from your house with it! :)

    Thanks! You might actually dig the color in person, it's much more metallic (shiny) than in the pictures.

    played an '08 Jazz with these same specs yesterday at GC and compared it next to a '74 Jazz and I thought the '08 smoked it. Fender has done a remarkable job with the new '08 models.
