I blame the drummer! Played a show a couple weeks ago with a noise-punk side project. We play together plenty and never have any amp problems, but we swapped instruments during this show and the drummer messed with my amp's ridiculous confusing (for a drummer) pre-gain and gain settings, overdriving the poor cabinet for a quarter of the show. When I plugged my amp in to practice the next day the cabinet was fizzling like it had blown a speaker. Huge bummer.
Oh well. This cabinet asks for 600 watts at 4 ohms, weighs about 50lbs (maybe less? I can carry it one handed without too much strain), and sounds almost the same timbrally at low volume levels as high - a quality I always like in a cabinet.
This would sell for at least $500 used without the blown speaker (I would know, I sold an identical cabinet a few months back), but since it's damaged and will require repair (which shouldn't cost more than a hundred dollars) I'm selling it for $200 preferably as a local pickup (Los Angeles, SoCal), but if you insist I ship it then you will pay actual shipping costs.
Price is low and therefore FIRM. I will not respond to any messages suggesting a lower price.
