Demand really, this thing sounds VERY close to a SVT. But at the price there were new you could get a used SVT for a couple hundred bucks more.

Couple this preamp with a good, clear, 600+ watt poweramp and NEVER look back. You will have SVT growl without the maintenance of the 6550 tubes.

Also, free bump :)

No growl with this puppy IMHO and as of 10 mins ago she should be on her way to me quite soon.....
