Just curious, how is the balance, while playing standing.
Thanks
Actually, I was pleasantly surprised, expecting all mahogany to be a bit heavier, but the bass is average weight, although I have never actually weighed it on a scale.

Using a 3-inch wide leather strap and straplocks, I never had any problems with neck-diving or the bass being off balance.
This would be playing 4 sets (45-60 min each), and usually 3 consecutive nights.

After trying many 5-bangers, I found one that I liked, with a wider neck, and I became a 5-string bass only guy.
First a Spector replaced the Warlock, then a Carvin replaced the Spector, and the Carvin remains as my main gigging bass.

I have always liked the umber/honey stain over quilted maple, and several of my basses have that option.

some friends moved into a house where someone left behind an OLD nj series black warlock. It still plays, just needed the fretboard re-glued. Is there any way for me to find out what this old axe is worth? Or what its made of?
thanks!
