I looked before posting the FS ad, but there seems to be ZERO clips on YouTube. Understandably I suppose, since the Bad Monkey is technically a guitar overdrive that happens to work extremely well on bass guitar because it retains a lot more of the lows that most guitar-based overdrives cut off. Later this evening, I'll try to make up a short sound bite or two that goes through the range of overdrive this pedal offers.

Here are a few clips. Low & High knobs at 2 o'clock position on all the clips.

Clip 1 is a very short clip just to try and demonstrate how the BM responds to playing dynamics. The harder you play, the more overdrive you'll get in return. Very responsive like the tube overdrive it is suppose to emulating. Gain was at 10 o'clock on this clip.

Clip 2 is a Primus tune - again, trying to show playing dynamics vs. controllable overdrive. Gain on that clip was at 2-3 o'clock position, yet still controllable via how hard you are playing.

Clip 3 is with gain at noon.

Keep in mind that though decent sounding recorded direct to a computer souncard, it sounds SO much better through a bass rig & cabinet. But it should give an approximation...
