This bass is a real gem. Not only is it one of the most accurate copies I've ever seen or played, it sounds amazing as well. The only identifying marks are hand-written characters in Japanese below one of the pickups under the clear coat and they read "Washburn" when translated. I don't know exactly when this bass was made but it seems to be a copy of a 70's Rick. There is wear and damage, some graffiti has been scratched into the finish over the years, there's a small chunk of the checkerboard binding missing. At some point the center neck section started to pull from the body wings. This has been repaired by the best tech in the area. It's a functional repair that doesn't hide the history of the bass. There is significant fret wear, however the bass is set-up well and plays cleanly from top to bottom in good tune with no buzz.

Here's a few photos to get things started...if anybody is truly interested I will be able to post additional photos over the weekend.....I've got quite a few cases and gig bags and I'll be working out the details depending on what fits...for now let's assume that the bass will be well packed with no case or gig bag.

Stuck somewhere in the past
I have a feeling this will go quick, warts and all.
I'm watching a plain-jane '91 Greco Ric copy on the 'bay right now that's up to 660+60 shipping with 15 current bids and two long days left.... so $600 for your checkerboard-binding rarity seems like a bargain, even with the visual mojo on it. I see yours has the proper binding break at the tail, and a dual jack... just wondering, is it wired for stereo? Is there any wording on the jackplate? Single or dual truss?

The bass is wired correctly, on the plate it says , "Stereo-Sound" and "Standard". It's a single truss rod....
..... I hope to have fresh pics showing all these details later this evening.

Update

I found a case that is more that adequate for shipping, it isn't intended for this bass but I "made it work". It's a hard plastic Gator case that's form fitted on the inside, I augmented the shape by tapping the styrofoam down in certain spots(bouts, tuners). The case was made for a deeper bass, some packing will be added to make sure it's snug, because of this and a cracked corner I wouldn't consider this bass good for everyday use...but at least it's free.

Since my original post I remembered that one of the jacks has been replaced on this bass.

Here's a few more pics that show some of the damages. I tried to show some different lighting and made an honest effort to show the damages at there worst so you know what to expect.
