This bass is a real gem. Not only is it one of the most accurate copies I've ever seen or played, it sounds amazing as well. The only identifying marks are hand-written characters in Japanese below one of the pickups under the clear coat and they read "Washburn" when translated. I don't know exactly when this bass was made but it seems to be a copy of a 70's Rick. There is wear and damage, some graffiti has been scratched into the finish over the years, there's a small chunk of the checkerboard binding missing. At some point the center neck section started to pull from the body wings. This has been repaired by the best tech in the area. It's a functional repair that doesn't hide the history of the bass. There is significant fret wear, however the bass is set-up well and plays cleanly from top to bottom in good tune with no buzz.
Here's a few photos to get things started...if anybody is truly interested I will be able to post additional photos over the weekend.....I've got quite a few cases and gig bags and I'll be working out the details depending on what fits...for now let's assume that the bass will be well packed with no case or gig bag.
