is bass kind of fell into my lap. It's a real looker with some battle scars, but it sounds and plays like a dream. It's a nice light 9 pounds, and balances perfectly. I'm just seeing if there is any interest, but if I don't sell it, that is fine with me. Comes with OHSC. Trades? I don't really know...pretty much anything bass related with or without cash on either end. I lean more toward 5 string basses, but some select 4 stringers might be considered. Price includesinsured shipping CONUS only. This is a 2014 Limited Edition 5 string Bongo bass with a roasted maple neck. These are very rare and only a handful were made in this configuration. It does have a few blemishes that are pictured, but it doesn't effect the beauty or play-ability of this fine instrument. These sold everywhere from $1900 - $2400 brand new. Comes with original hard shell case. It comes with the following specs: The Neptune Blue color package features African mahogany bodies finished in a custom Neptune Blue finish. The package also includes figured, roasted maple necks and high profile, wide stainless steel frets. This is the first time Music Man has offered maple fretboards on the Bongo model! Body Wood: African Mahogany Body Colors: Neptune Blue Frets: High Profile, Wide-Stainless Steel Neck Wood: Figured Roasted Maple Fret Markers: Dots Neck Finish: Gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend
It really is a looker for sure. Plus the only Bongo with a maple fret board. All Bongos come with a rosewood board, except THIS one. The roasted maple is really something.

Would a BC Rich neck through Mockingbird with double P's with OHSC be of interest. That's all I'm willing to let go of at this point
I have never shipped anything internationally, so that's why I said CONUS only. I have no idea what that upcharge would be,
@Up the dose It's funny, but I've owned this model in the Rosewood with the 5 tuners in-line. I may be interested, but I would need to try yours and there would need to be cash on your end. PM me.
I've had quite a few trade offers, and I am still considering a couple. I would like to keep this up until the end of the week to see what else is out there. I've also had one offer to buy from a local guy, but the offer was too low.
Ditto. That Neptune blue finish is otherworldly (you see what I did there? Neptune is a different planet..."otherworldly"? ) Anyways - I prefer 'regular' or, more so, birdseye maple boards over roasted maple (from a purely aesthetic viewpoint), but yeah, this bass overall...drool
