I am still really not sure I want to do this but thought I would throw it out there. I think I just may be itching for something different. This Nuance is less than 6 months old in excellent condition. This is Mike's newest model and definitely my favorite Pedulla that I have owned.

Red Heart Quilted Maple top, maple body, maple neck and ebony board. 19mm spacing, 8.6lbs. $3700 new

Trades: I don't really have any ONE thing in mind. 5 string basses only and nothing with less than 18mm spacing. Just looking at options. A Roscoe LG 3005 would sit pretty high on the list. +/- cash on any applicable trade. I will probably not put a lot of cash towards a trade though. Not really interested in an outright sale, but I could change my mind on that.

UPDATED: Will do $2650 shipped to Cont US

Any idea what the cash value on this would be (used)? I've never seen one of them pop up before!

Sweet-looking bass!

Question...what's the diff between this model and the ET-5?

dcr

As xparis001 said, the ET-5 is a neck through. The "ET" actually stands for Exotic Top. But it is still a Thunderbass. You may also see the ETB-5 which is the Exotic Top version of the Thunderbolt. The Nuance is a slightly different body shape to the Thunderbolt and Thunderbass. The body shape is more like the Rapture series. The electronics are different from all the other models as well. It uses a different preamp and pickups. While still Bartolini, the pickups are a slightly different shape and the pre has a mid boost/cut vs the old "thurnderguts" switch. The pre and pickups are all custom voiced for Pedulla. The thunderguts switch, for me, was somewhat useless. The boost/cut on the Nuance is more more usable. You can also set the amount of boost and cut inside the control cavity. These are also considerably lighter than the Thunderbass and Thunderbolt series. Hope that helps

As far as I know, it is the first one to pop on the used market. I don't think many of them have been made yet. It is definitely the best of the Pedulla models that I have played and/or owned. It plays like butter. I would put cash value used in the $2500-$2700 range as the list is $5400. Generally street used falls at about half of the new list.

That's a real pretty one! I couldn't imagine not having my Nuance bass. It has become a very useful and completely unique bass for me but I don't fault anyone for selling a bass. I'm just very pleased with mine.
