The weight is around 9 pounds, however, it doesn't feel heavy, it feels well made. It really is a very solid bass with great tone and beautiful look and feel.

+1000 on the Marcus...I just snagged one at a bargain basement price...guy wasn't playin it and it had an issue with the bridge pickup which cost me $40.00 to resolve. I cannot put this thing down, it feels and sounds that good...and I have a smokin' Roscoe 5 string I haven't touched since the MM came home... you betta get up on it ! Best bang for the buck goin':bassist: IMHOP !

Good weight. I asked because I owned one that had to be about 14lbs! For real! I just don't want to go there again! LOL! Too bad I'm a little short on the fund'age to snag it!
