For sale FS/FT: Peavey T-40 Transparent Red w/ OHC

wow, this is a really tight bass! I think i just felt my first tingling of GAS

This is one of the prettiest T-40's I've ever seen.

Should also mention that I just polished the frets and set her up with a fresh set of Sadowsky Blue Label strings. Action is sweet and low with no fret buzz.

What does she weigh? I know T-40s are notorious for being on the heavy side.

*Was wondering how long it would be before the weight question came along . Ain't gonna be one of you TB weight watchers that is able to sling this baby around . Bathroom scale has it in at almost 12 lbs !

*Some more ideas for trade. Cool effects pedals. Amplifiers. How about a laptop computer, especially one of those new minis? How about a set of Nordstrand Big Splits or Singles and a matching preamp for my Lakland 55-01? Got some good bass offers but nothing that has tempted me to part with this beast, yet. Except maybe that agave blue Fender Jazz (you know who you are). Keep the offers coming.
