Roscoe Thunderbird *****TRADED*****
Update (as of 10/4/2013):
Bass has just received the following service from Roscoe (@ $300 + $213 for the new preamp):
- Dress and re-level frets.
- Install new Aquilar OBP-3 Preamp (4 knob, 1 switch - V, Bl, Mpp, T/B stack, A/P switch).
- New knobs.
Per Roscoe, the neck issue mentioned below is not totally fixed. Because I use high tension flats, the "slight" back-bow is not an issue and there is now rod adjustment based on using higher tension strings. If lower tension strings are going to be used there still may be an issue depending on how much neck adjustment you need, etc., etc. Roscoe stated that the neck may need more extensive work. I hope I have described this clearly.

Besides the issues that the previous owner pointed out (slight neck dive, access to the upper frets due to the body shape) there is another issue that I discovered after getting the bass. The neck was flat when I received it. I tend to like a little relief and play with the strings on the high side. When adjusting the truss rod I discovered that there was no more adjustment left (as loose as it could go turning it counterclockwise). I talked to Gard at Roscoe and he stated that from what I was describing it would need repair work or I could use higher tension strings. Since I tend to use high tension LaBella flats the neck does have a bit of relief with those strings installed so I did not send it in for repair work. Also, I did manage to put a small ding in the finish about half the size of my pinky nail (see area circled in red on the last picture) and I did install an additional strap lock to help with the neck dive. It likes to be worn low and sounds amazing. Comes with Roscoe hard case.

The only issue I could find on this bass is that the nut slot at the D string is too low. I never got around to fixing it so I have just been using a piece of paper shim. I only used this one at home for practicing. I do not have a case for this but it will be packed very well. Asking $1650 (net to me, includes shipping).
