Up for grabs now is my Gallien Krueger Neo 112 cabinet.

I have had the cabinet for 28 days. Guitar Center said they could not take it back as a return because it was a special order(which they never mentioned to me in the store when I ordered it).


I have hardly played it. It sounds wonderful, not a scratch on it.

I believe they went for like $469 online.

I am looking to get about $400 plus shipping.

Feel free to make an offer, but I am pretty firm.

It has seen NO gigs, not even brought out of my house, besides to bring it to GC and find out they wont take it back.

It also comes w/ the Owners Manual, as well as the 'special' GK 4 prong speakon cable for bi-amping capabilities.

Just called. The guy from customer service is calling the guitar center to and i quote "find out what they are smoking"

All problems aside. Guitar Center Customer Service called me back and said because it was a special order item, it does NOT fall under the 30 day rule. In other words the cabinet is STILL for sale and looking for a good home.

Wow, that sucks. Did they tell you that when you bought the stuff? Is it on the receipt?

The Reciept doesn't say anything about not being able to return. The Guitar Center Staff said that he told me, but the ONLY thing he told me was that I wouldn't qualify for "no interest, no payments" which i was fine with.

You could probably press the issue if you wanted. I would think if you bought $2500 worth of equipment from them they wouldn't want to lose your business. Of course some of those folks don't seem to care....

I pressed it quite a bit with him yesterday. I caused quite the scene. Considering that GC is 300 miles away, and there are 2 closer to me(one 250 miles and one 275 miles away). I told him how i felt about the issue, and about driving 300 miles for NOTHING.

The main reason is because I just bought a brand new 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP. And car payments are HUGE. I am not gigging, and don't plan on joining a band until my college career is over. Thus I dont need a very nice amp setup. I am going to just buy myself a little bedroom practice combo amp.

A side reason is because I am writing an acoustic album, at my own pace, no big gigging or anything, just so i feel like i accomplished something, and I need some more funds to finish the project.

I have been GASing for a 212 for quite some time. If i didnt have so much in bills now I would have probably tried to work out a trade with you.

Dang! Been waiting for one of these to show up for a while to pair up with my GKNEO112. But alas, my incoming vs outgoing is out of balance (putting in mildly) and need to unload more stuff before I buy any more stuff! :(

Rappa, just let me know when/if you get items moved. The 112 is currently sitting in a closet so its not getting used/abused.
