This is an Ibanez SR 3000 Prestige 4 string bass. I bought (I think in 2004) this bass kind of as an emergency bass, when the airlines lost my 6 string Ibanez Prestige, from a pretty small music shop in Seattle. I did a few days of recording with it and then the airlines found my 6 string bass. Not however before the bass slid off a wall it was leaning on and got caught between two microphone stands that put a scratch on the back of it (see photo 61). It was a tough session.
Anyway it's a nice bass. I haven't played it for over 2 years. It has a 3-band equalizer (almost like a parametric eq) that gets a lot of nice tones. It has a drop D lever which I found to be handier than I thought it would. I paid just under $1300. Selling for $600 plus shipping. Comes with the hard case of course. Check out link to photos below.
