For sale: Near mint Nordstrand Nordy VJ5. Olympic white, tort pguard, Alder body, rosewood fboard, Big Singles, optional factory installed Type "B" Hipshot bridge. Right around 9 pounds. 34.5 inch scale. Hard/soft case in excellent condition included. When I got it, it was passive. I had an East J-Retro preamp professionally installed. Your choose which you want, passive or active controls. $2,050.00 obo passive, $2,200.00 obo with J-Retro. Shipping via Fedex ground included. ***EDIT*** Sorry, CONUS only. Some pics:

What's the neck profile like on these? Does Nordy have their own more modern profile going, or more of a traditional fender profile? Any kind comparisons would helpful too... thanks!

From the Nordstrand website:"Scale is 34.5" with 21 frets, radius is 12" to 20" compound, small vintage style fretwire, 1.81" bone nut, 19mm bridge spacing and a fast satin finish neck with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard." I've been playing bass since 1966 and IMO, the Nordy necks are the fastest, most comfortable I have experienced yet.
