I just turned 71--retired, and need to reduce my equipment. I'm playing only upright gigs only now. This is my last BG to sell. I ordered this through Jeff Gould in 1992, and was my go-to bass for almost twenty years. This has a cocobolo top, but it has darkened over the years. The colors show up subtly in stage lighting, but it is not a spectacular top. I ordered cocobolo for sound. The bass is in excellent condition for its age, and sounds like a Quantum Five should sound. I'm letting it go for a very reasonable price, in order to move it out quickly.
