If you read up on the history of this bass you’ll see how impressive the repair was, and I can honestly say unless I took a black light to this bass I’d never know it was there. It’s really that good. Comes in a new deluxe warwick gig bag. The bass has no issues what so ever. My cash sales price is $2500 shipped Conus (Paypal preferred). No trades please.

Thanks to ModulusAcacia, Forrester Kustoms and spectorj for the pics and description.

That is a flat out AMAZING repair job.
I studied the finished photos as close as I could- I for one could not tell it was repaired.
Hell, if you didn't know, judging from the pictures, you would have zero idea the headstock broke clean off.

Bump for an awesome bass at a MONSTER price.

Yes indeedy MikeBass. Mike Forrester is as good as you'll ever find as a luthier. If you were never informed that this bass had been repaired, I seriously doubt that you would ever have had any clue, either visually or thru playing the bass. With that said, there are ZERO issues with this bass as a result of the repair job or otherwise. I just plain old smokes :bassist:

As testament to that, I checked out the pictures, scrolled down and read "MikeBass That is a flat out AMAZING repair job.

Sorry, nothing recorded at the moment w/this one :hmm: Awesome bass for showing up at a random gig cause it can be dialed in for just about anything.

I played a few shows when I had the bass back in the day. It was absolutely incredible and I'd love to have it back. If I had to describe the tone, I'd put it somewhere near a ken smith, but with many more tonal possibilities. The coil tap on each pickup really gives you over a dozen configurations in passive mode. Playability on that one was pretty bada$$ too. Great GREAT bass.

Is it a set-neck or neck-through?
I guess I didn't understand about the wenge core

The neck is deep set and the wenge core acts as a tone plate.
