TRADED.
Edits - updated offer, prices and trades*
I've closed out my previous thread since I couldn't modify the title to reflect what I was trying to do. I am putting up my Schecter Ultra, with a Guitar Research Bag (that fits it). Will include a SansAmp Bass Driver DI to sweetin the deal if necessary.
It's 2004/2005 Schecter Ultra Bass (Ultrabass) in perfect condition. This is one of the first models that has the inverted headstock and has a very retro look. Tone and feel are excellent. Great tone potential with the sansamp. Neck is straight and frets are in great shape. It has a thin, jazz type neck. All around a great bass. But I've really settled into Fenders. The Ultra has a different feel and tone than a Jazz.
These are now discontinued so I am struggling with the decision to let it go, but can't justify having more than 2 basses at this point and have really taken to Fender Jazz basses (especially the necks).
Price is $550 shipped for Ultra, SansAmp and Bag
$475 for the Ultra and Bag alone
Price is pretty firm. The bass went for about $650 new but are no longer available. I can't find any used ones.
Primary reason for the new ad and the price is that there is a Geddy and Jag available. Plus This bass is in excellent condition, new black beauties, bag, SansAmp DI and it's ultra rare. I've only seen 2 of these pop up on eBay and haven't seen any here.
The specs from MF:
The Schecter Ultra Bass has a body and headstock shape all its own-a retro modern vibe. Its neck has a fast feel and Ultra Access design gives free access to the top of the fingerboard. Mahogany body with thick center, set maple neck give it great resonance and tone, and EMG-Hz pickups with 2-band active EQing give it a strong, versatile voice. A really nice axe!
Schecter Ultra Bass Features:
* Mahogany body with raised center
* Set maple neck with Ultra Access
* 34" scale
* Rosewood fingerboard
* 22 jumbo frets
* EMG-Hz pickups
* Active 2-band EQ
* Master volume, blend, high tone, low tone controls
I would still consider a trade. As Far as Trades, I am looking at FENDER only:
+++ primarily interested in a Geddy.
+++ still love the jaguar
++ highway one jazz/P or CIJ Jazz/P
+ jazz/P deluxe (MIM)
Thanks.
