Similar story to the other bass I just listed; my first Spector was a Rex, and I sold it last year as it wasn't seeing much use due to my newly acquired Coda and NS-2.
I was recently listening to some older tracks I'd recorded with it, and was struck by both nostalgia and how KILLER my tone was!
So I went in search of another...
After getting this one and gigging it a few times, I remembered why we had originally parted ways...as much as I LOVE the neck profile and the tone, I really prefer the NS-2 and Coda body styles.
Just passing along the good deal I got on this one, the following was taken from the original ad:
"This is a very nice bass. Neck-through, all maple construction in transparent black, and light weight at ~8.5lbs. It has gold hardware that came from a legend I used to have, and the inlays are decals which are easily removable if you don't like them. (I do!) Comes with a specific fit Spector hard case.
These are $1099.99 new, and the case new is around $160.00 more."
Selling for less than half of new pricing, $550 shipped for both the bass and case.
