2002 Warwick Dolphin SN with dolphin inlays. recessed strap locks(so you do not poke yourself and tweak the end of the wood)
Note, this is not the Pro 1 which is a NT only. This is the SN.
Looks like it and plays like it, but is not a NT.
Every other SN dolphin I've ever seen does not have the nice dolphin in lays nor the recessed strap locks.
- 5 string
- Ovangkol body and neck
- Wenge fingerboard with dolphin inlays
- 34" scale
- 26 frets
- MEC J/TJ pups with MEC 2 band eq
- 2-piece bridge, gold hardware
- Just-A-Nut II
- Recessed strap locks(really nice feature)
This bass is in top shape, not new, but very close.
I had a tough time finding anything all wrong with it even being really picky.
Note, this is the only dolphin in lays I've ever seen on a SN, and the SN plays just like the neck through. I did not think so either till I played them both.
I really wanted to make this bass work but does not fit my playing style I'm after and I am going to go back to the warwick thumb. I wish I could say otherwise, really. I love the shape and look, and the inlays, electronics etc, hate to do this really.
Ships in nice gig bag, which is in like new shape also.
Ship cost will be about 40$ and will be bubble wrapped and then well packed in a box.
2000$ OBO
If you have a nice NT Thumb in very nice shape+ cash, I will consider, or a Steinberger L-2 there may be a trade. No other trades are of interest.
You will be extremely pleased with this bass if you are lucky enough to get it.
