SOLD FS - Yamaha 5 String TRB-5II

Amber / orangish color. bold woodgrain. Rosewood fretboard. All stock, no mods. Recently restrung with DR Flats. You will notice some of the photos show strings with blue wraps just below the nut. These were taken when I first aquired the bass. Shortly after purchase I realized that the strings that came with it were too short, and previous owner had shimmed the strings at the nut to set the action on the B & E strings. I liked the bass enough to keep it despite this....but as time wore on I found the neck to be too wide for my tastes.

Anyway, she is truly in cherry condition, no buckle rash, no gouges, nicks or even what one woudl consider "normal" wear for an approximatly 10 y.o. instrument. When I took custody in Nov. 2010; she still even had the plastic film protective covers over the control cavity cover. I play in a church praise band and don't gig out much....and this was never a bass I played very much, so it didnt see much use with me.

The bass comes with a TKL hardshell case and is equipped with gold Schaller strap locks that match the gold hardware. I will even include the deluxe burgandy leather strap (has nicely padded underside) along with the bass.
