You are looking at a beautiful Yamaha BBNE1 Nathan East signature bass. As you know these very hard to find and they are Yamaha's high end bass, catered to Nathan East's playing style and construction. I am reluctant to sell it because it plays so smoothly and sounds amazing, but I don't find the need to have 2 basses for now. The body is alder with a flamed maple top and matching head. It has a bolted on, two octave, neck that plays very easy and comfortably. The ebony fingerboard is decorated with figured abalone giving it an elegant look.
The Pickups sound growly with two special single soapbars pups running through a 5 control active electronics. It features a custom 3 band EQ with a switchable mid-cut to provide sonic versatility and the classic Nathan East tone.
Overall this bass has been played and it does have its fair share of dings and nicks (most of them visible up close and if angled off the light). There are a few scratches and small nicks by the input jack but nothing that is affects the playability and sound. From a close distance it looks great and most nicks are hidden from sight. Everything works as it should and it's original hardshell case is also included. The OHSC is in fair condition, with small dings and tears but it does the job. The handle was replaced and a latch was attached to replace a broken one. Asking price is [DEL]$1100[/DEL] SOLDobo shipped in CONUS.
