Ordered a set of La Bella 760FS strings from Sweetwater for one of my P Basses on 9/30, delivery expected 10/4. USPS never showed any movement after 10/4, "In transit to next facility". On 10/6 I reached out to USPS who actually called me back! They told me my package got loaded on a trailer in Indiana, and they would look into it. Sweetwater contacted and I told them the shipment is potentially lost, they would watch it too. On 10/8 Sweetwater considered the strings lost and shipped me another set via FedEx, I received them on 10/11, yay! But what do you know, the original set showed up at my house the next day as well. I contacted Sweetwater and asked for a return label to ship back, they said "looks like you got a free set, keep them"
Decisions, decisions.... what bass do I put them on? The P bass set will never need to be changed in my lifetime, I've never warmed up to flats on a Jazz, but this is my first set of the DTF's (that I can remember buying) I had not played flats for years, last ones I used were GHS Precision Flats on the same P bass, and Chromes on a Jazz Elite for a few months. The extra DTF's would go on a MIM which is passive fitted with CS '60's pickups. Thoughts??
