So I'm contemplating trading my 1990 Pedulla MVP 5. Its an amazing bass and I've had it longer than any other bass i've owned (I get GAS a lot). This bass is definitely well played and has nicks and chips and bumps and bruises, but still plays great. I don't think it has the original tuners as there are extra holes from where the original ones were. If you want more pictures let me know (I took these a while back). I had brand new electronics put in and a complete setup done by Michael Pedulla a little over a year ago ($400+). I've got a Pedulla HSC that I believe is for a Thunderbolt or Thunderbass, but I put an extra piece of foam in there and it fits snugly. I also just put on a brand new set of Pedulla steels that sound great.

I'm really not looking for anything in particular. As long as its a 5-er feel free to send me some offers! I may not end up trading it as I do love it but I just felt like throwing it out there.

  2. Kewl bass bump!

I have one just like it except with a lot more paint chips if you can call 20% of the paint missing chips... :p

A great playing and sounding 5'er, excellent neck, they weight in under 9 LBS and sit well on a strap.

For some reason, the MVP design always looked right (and best) to me as a 5-string. That seems to be the sweet spot. Bump for a sweet bass.

    Oooh, nice!

Would go great with my '87 Blue-Green Burst MVP5. Too bad I have nothing to trade.

    Bump!

  8. I've seen it on several pedullas over the years - these "seem splits" have you ever been given an explanation about them? Obviously they must be rock solid just curious.

No, I've never really thought to ask to tell you the truth. As far as I can tell everything is rock solid. I'm sure if you emailed Pedulla they would be glad to answer your questions!

ps - I'm still considering your trade offer :)

  10. No Problem, I'd love to make the deal happen, but take your time - I'm not in a hurry.
