Double Bass Full Circle Trouble

How am I supposed to light my bass on fire and jump off the stage into the crowd while constantly concerned about all of those things?

Man, if I was lighting my bass on fire and jumping off the stage with it, one of the last things I'd be worried about is how robust my p/u is :) James, you lead a much more interesting gigging life than I ever will by the sound of things :)

I went through two of them a couple decades ago. It was either a short in the wire or more likely the piezo got damaged during bridge adjustments.

Fishman was great to work with and fixed me up.

I’ve had one on my Upton for like … probably 6-7 years? No issues. But could happen anytime. I carry a Rev solo in the gig bag just in case.
I'm curious about the Rev but I have 3 basses and each bridge is a little different which means it would only work for the one for which I sand it, right?
