You will find SERIOUS disagreement with your dismissive and flippant opinion, from Michael Tilson Thomas to Jimmy Page - but what would they know about music, eh?
Ya'lls got to learn to dance, my friend. You might find that "Disco" itself is just another ray that shines from that big ol' funky sun...
It's probably more likely that you hate what you think funk is (and what you think is, unfortunately, based on ignorance of an incredibly influential style of music).
This is not a thread requiring opinions! Much less negative opinions. This is a sticky thread dedicated to informing those on true funk examples and educating those interested in the genre of funk. If you want to know about funk, feel free to peruse the thread and educate yourself. If not, please refrain from posting negative comments.
