Funny...

I thought you'd appreciate this: I played a Christmas concert tonight with a cool indie artist. Modern arrangements of hymns, some complicated polyrhythmic rhythm section parts, etc... Fun stuff. I played my favorite '63 Fender P for a lot of the show, nasty old flats and all, and afterwards, the music critic from the paper came up to me and said, and I quote, "DUDE... You bass tone is like a miracle!!" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!! I'll take that!! Hopefully it ends up in print next week!! :^D I'll send it to Fender and Ampeg if it does. :^P

If anyone is interested in listening, the studio recording is up on Soundcloud: Invalid Link Removed.

I'm not a real "holiday music" guy, but it was a real fun session playing on all this stuff, and from all the positive responses we've been getting doing a handful of shows this month, I'm guessing folks dig it.

(My only comments is that I disagree with the amount of AT on Greg's voice. He can sing like a mofo, but for some reason he insists on having it processed like that… Oh well. Like he's been fond of saying, "no one buys my records anyway, so they might as well be exactly how I want to hear them.)
