Futuristing/Robotic looking basses?

Behold! The Yamaha RBX4 A2.

Not mine though.

I was looking at that bass awhile back...it now comes in 5 string and 32" scale versions. I really like the design of the bridge, but I hate those drawn-on lines across the body-- (why does yamaha insist on putting a decal of the model number on the front of some of their basses? Looks corny, IMO..and it's probably under several coats of finish so it can't be sanded off). Interesting bass, and good idea with its lightweight design.

Where to begin?

For starters how about Gus?

or a Tokai Talbo?
