Hello there fellow low-enders,
I was wondering if anyone could reccomend some good fuzz. I like the boss fuzz and am loking to actually getting a fuzz pedal. Does anyone like the legend of fuzz? I like the casing but have yet to hear it (don't judge a book by its cover right?) So if anyone has insight I am all ears...:D

You are in luck. Fuzz is easily one of the most discussed topics here, and bassfuzz.com is a great resource.

This fact, however, is also a double edged sword, as there are probably more distinct, unique flavors of "fuzz" out there than there are of any other effect. Bassfuzz.com is a great starting point, however, to get an idea of which tones you like from a fuzz.

Hope this helps. :)

that tuner in your chain is why you can never get a rich sustained tone

Hm. Well I've been considering taking my head and cab out of the chain completely so I can avoid their coloration - I've noticed they really seem to squash my highs while eliminating my midrange and negating my lows. It's pretty frustrating. However, I find that the buffer on my tuner tends to stretch out my lower frequencies which helps me cut through the mix.

So, before this gets locked, up...
OP, you would really benefit from doing a search on www.google.com. I typed in "legend of fuzz" "bass" and it yielded over 700 hits. There are links there to www.youtube.com demos of this pedal on bass.

If you're not happy w/ that, follow the other members' instructions and get to http://bassfuzz.com.
