Is there some sort of poly coat on the kidpaint to make it all smooth like or is it like just rough scratchy plain paint?

I don't think there is a coating on it. Looks like thick acrylic paint to me. Fuzzrocious can probably answer this.

Clear coat over acrylic. It should be smooth, but may have roughened up over time with wear.

Notes on the RT - that's an old school one (can tell via the knobs). Awesome!

Notes on the GS - that's half of pedal art that spans another pedal in existence. Half a face. Neat!

Did the RTM arrive like that from us or was it bought secondhand? If the former, please let us know if that happens again. We'll trade you out or fix it up ASAP.

Thanks Ryan. It took me a minute to decipher your acronyms (haven't had my coffee yet!)!
I must say, these are great pedals but I am reducing my pedal board (less dirt) and coincidentally these all came off together. This is in no way a reflection of these pedals, just a change in my set-up.

(Concerning the RTM, I bought it used. The wear on the graphics does not effect the performance in any way.)

Not that I know of. It has the diode switch on the side but I think that is standard.
