Fx send/return

Hi all,
I have an Ampeg SVT Classic. I recently decided to use the preamp out and power amp in as my fx send and return. I know that most pedals are at instrument level so I'm wondering if something like the EBtech 2-channel line level shifter will allow me to use my fx with no power or signal issue. Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks!!

Using the loop gains nothing really and some effects sound crap through a loop. Why bother? It’s also adding another and unnecessary cable into your rig. More cable means more signal degradation. Skip it.

It will probably work ok, but may not be the best way to use your pedals.
