Have you had a chance to see, investigate, and/or try out the Series II Clarus heads? Any word on the availability timeframe on those?

Not yet; I expect to receive the "interim deal" rigs next week, which consist of the original Clarus head plus the new Contra/Coda EX bottom. Other items are due to ship in August, though there is no specific date. I have a bunch of the stuff on order and have already taken advance orders.

Just received the first of the interim deals (original Clarus head with new Contra EX cabinet, temporary special until the new Contra and Coda combos become available), four out of five are going out the door. This little cab is... well, little. I just tried it with my big rig amp (Kern preamp, RNC compressor, QSC 2402 power amp) and my first reaction is that it sounds tighter than the original. I do have a new (original model) Coda EX and a new (original model) Clarus, so I'll try to A/B the two cabinets this week.

I do like the tweeter in the new Contra when used with a pickup, though I haven't tried it with a mic yet; typically I turn tweeters down when using a mic.

The only way to get across just how compact this little box is by a close-up photo; as you have probably seen, the Clarus heads, which define the differences between the Contra, Contra R, Coda, and Coda R models are bolted to the top of the cabinet. Here it is (serial #3):
