Here we have a VERY gorgeous example of G. Gould's creations. Trans black over figured maple top. It does have a few honest player scrapes and such, but nothing through the finish and no hard knock chips. It feels incredible (all Goulds do). It has the characteristic clear "graphite" sound. The pickups are passive EMG Geezer PJs--I did change the bridge pickup to a 10% overwind split Fralin pickup for a more even output between pickups. I will include the original passive EMG. I soldered an EMG quick connect onto the Fralin wire leads, so switching back and forth is a breeze. The truss cover was missing when I got it, so, no cover there. Not that carbon fiber necks need a lot of adjustment, but I did adjust it to my liking and everything seemed to be in working order.
It sounds great and you will not be lost in the mix with this one. I haven't tried it with flats, but I'll bet even they would be well defined and not soupy/muddy. I had active EMGs in it for a short time, but it was a bit bright for my tastes (if you want the actives, I can switch back for you). However, new, it had the passives.
My hang scale shows 7.5 (7 pounds 8 ounces) on the nose. So, super light and a breeze to play.
Super heavy duty gig bag/case is included. It's the beefiest and nicest one I've ever seen and is in new condition.
No Trades on this one as I'm FORCING myself to cut the inventory. I mean REALLY, how many basses can I play, for crying out loud???
I will only ship to the lower US 48 states. Price is $1900 shipped if you're west of the Mississippi. Add $50 if you are east. Preferred payment is Zelle.
