G&L Body Shape Question?

Does anyone know whether the shape of an L1K body is the same as that of an SB-1? Would someone with one of each care to trace?

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

While I don't currently have both on hand, I don't think they're the same.
I believe the SB2 is smaller overall, and has a narrower waistline.

I believe the L2K's went to the narrower waste recently.

My '02 L2K and '87 SB1 are the same shape, except the SB1 is thinner front to back. My '02 SB2 is much narrower wasted than both.

Thanks guys. I should have specified that I have a L1K that is a BABP
which does seem to have a fairly narrow waistline. I guess it may be best for me to locate an SB-1 to check.

Any other input is welcome.

I was under the impression that the L series had more of a jazz shaped body and the SB's had more of a P shaped body wasteline wise.

I disagree;
The L series definitely do not have the offset lower bout of a traditional J body.
