G&L Tribute J-2 jazz bass. I purchased this bass new about 4 years ago and it is in very good condition. The bass has an ash body and it is relatively light at around 8.8 pounds. There are no nicks or dings in the body or neck. The headstock shows a couple of minor scuffs and you can see some slight clear coat wear near the pickups where I rest my thumb. I have also noticed that if you pull the cord just right while playing the bass that it can sometimes cut out, this doesn't happen often but I want to mention it. It is likely just a jack that needs to be resoldered or replaced.
The tone of this bass is excellent, very clear and articulate, and it even replaced another jazz bass I had that cost several times more. The reason I'm selling is because I've been playing P basses lately and this bass needs to be played by someone.
I'll include a new light padded gig bag (SX brand).
