Up for sale: My beautiful 1996 MIA G&L L-2000
Clear green finish over an ash body with beautiful woodgrain patterns ... maple neck and fingerboard. This color combination makes for a really stunning aesthetic.
The L2000 is known for being a jack of all trades and this one is no exception offering dozens of tonal options ... This is a powerhouse of a bass.
The neck is straight and the truss rod turns freely ... Her action is currently set low with zero fret buzz ... She's got a #5 neck and it's 1.75" width at the nut (P width) There's a tiny indentation on the G string edge of the fingerboard between frets 6 & 7 barely noticeable and does not effect playability.
Frets have light wear and the chrome hardware has light tarnish on the tuners and bridge, perfectly normal considering her age. There is also a scratch along the back of the body as shown in the pics.
The strap buttons have been replaced with Schaller locking buttons but otherwise it's all original. Comes in the original, well worn, molded G&L case
