G&L lb 100 Tribute

considering buying a G&L lb 100 Tribute , all the online stores I've looked at list this bass with MFD pick ups. G&L website doesnt even mention which type of pick up. The pole pieces do not look adjustable so I'm thinkig a split alnico pick up. I appreciate any feedback.

The Tribute LB100 has alnico precision style pickups and not MFD's. I have 3 of these basses.

The MFD's aren't crazy expensive if you decided you wanted one in your Tribute.

How does the LB-100 compare to a Fender Series? Is it comparable to a MIM fender or Squier? Thanks
