G&L Tribute M2000 GTB in excellent condition. These (GTB) were limited are no longer available. I had Mo at Nordstrand round over the fret edges, level the frets, and file the nut. He set this up for C# tuning with heavy strings. I didn’t care for this bass setup like that so installed 45-105 Dunlop SS in standard tuning. That being said, the action is VERY low. I didn’t want to change anything so I left it like this. Loosening the truss rod or heavier strings would bring it up if needed without raising the saddles. When I received this it had no finish on the back of the neck. I finished it with gunstock oil and wax, just like EBMM basses. Very nice looking and playing bass, I just have too many right now and this one doesn’t get played over my US L2000. $525 PayPal shipped to the lower 48. No case or bag but will be packed very well. One of the great stage looks is a white bass with a matching headstock. Church, clubs, outdoor, festivals, etc. Nice G&L.
Please explain what a carved top refers to as I'm not familiar with the term. And the weight if possible?
The top is contoured, similar to a Les Paul. Check out the video below of a L2500 with a carved top. I believe the weight was around 9.3 lbs when I weighed it a year ago but I can’t find my scale right now. I’ll try to get an accurate weight ASAP.
Thanks for the reply George, I mean Cantstandsya. Very nice Sienfeld touch. Is it just the photo's or is the chrome on the bridge where the E string ties in have some chrome damage, as well as with the A string tuning machines' base?
I don’t see any damage to the chrome. There are some small spots of discoloration that I could only see in the close up pictures below. I think what you’re seeing in the original photos is a reflection. {} {} {}
