The downsizing continues. Now we are into the really, really good stuff. This lovely Custom Build G&L LB-100 was born in Fullerton, CA in 2014 and has been in my protective custody since that year. All original, no mods. Minimal player wear. It has never been gigged. Very little play time, as I have far too many basses, according to the War Department.
Old School Tobacco Burst over swamp ash, utterly stunning in person. Tort, of course. Quartersawn maple neck. Dotless rosewood fretboard that is dark enough to lose yourself in. Frets were PLEKed at the factory. Strung with La Bella 760FL flats. If flats are not your thing, I'll gladly set her up with fresh nickel rounds. Action is medium-low. Weight is 9.1 pounds. Slight pitting and a little tarnishing of chrome. Kept in my smoke-free, pet-free studio, mostly in the beautiful G&G case (luggage tag not included). Tone is pure G&L magic.
