G&L's Kiloton vs Stingray or Sterling?

So, I am at the same crossroads. I have been looking to buy a Sterling Ray 34. I found a great deal on a Kiloton Tribute and I don't know if I should pull the trigger or go with my original idea of a Ray 34

Play them if you can.

I e played the Sterling and liked it. The G&L I would need to order to play. There are none locally.

Of the three, I’d go with the Kiloton, but I’m also a fan of the MFD and its nuclear weapon output, clarity of notes, etc. It has a less distinctive sound than the Stingray, which has that recognizable “pinch” to it. So it won’t stick out like a sore thumb quite as much, for better or worse if that’s important.

In terms of quality of the instrument, it’s comparable…

My USA Sterling 4HH punches and cuts thru any room, any mix as does my Bongo 4HH.They both go to each gig and I have sold my Stingray's.
