This amp was my go-to for 9 years; every amp that I compared to it got sent packing!
I still haven’t found anything that sounds better, IMO, but I’m playing in multiple bands and my other amps are a bit more convenient for hauling to and from rehearsals.
This 700RB-II is in perfect working order; there are a couple scratches on it (most notably on the face, above the XLR output) but this is a bulletproof classic of an amp that’s ready to rock.
Newer designs are lighter, but at 17 lbs., this amp is hardly what you’d call heavy – and tour-ready construction is why so many of these GKs have been kicking for decades...and will continue to!
Available by itself or in a 3-space carpeted wooden rack (with ventilated 1-space filler panel) for an extra $40. The rack adds weight, but it also does a great job of protecting the amp (keeping stuff from falling into the top vent) and giving a more traditional vibe.
PayPal and Zelle welcome. Cash + local pickup welcome too.
