Gallien Krueger MB200 - which cabinet?

I want to buy a 1x12" or a 2x10" cab for the MB200, but I want a 4 ohm cab, to benefit from all the power the head gives... And most of the smaller cabs are 8 ohms

it sounds reasonable to me: I am looking around, too to buy another amp in addition to my two; one is at home (Polytone MB I), another where we practice (Nemesis NC210P) but I would buy another one just in the same 200w area for the pure pleasure of... having a new amp for gigs!!! And I would never add another cab anyway, too... G&K 200w plus the Hartke 1x12 would fit me perfectly... on the other hand, they build them 4 ohm speakers for somebody uh?

P.S.: the Hartke is switchable from 4 to 8 ohm, so it could definitely be a good choice... you might always add another in parallel!!!

Thinking about pairing this amp (or the Overton Flyweight 200) with a SWR Triad. Any opinions would be helpful.

Anyone ever try to hook this little head up with a 4x10 cab?
I use a 1x15 cab, but would like a more "open" sound - and maybe a bit more power and headroom. Can this be done?

Personally I haven't yet, but it's perfectly doable.

If you're worried about "underpowering" something, don't be. We do our best to keep that myth dead and buried but it's a zombie.

Munji uses his with a 6x10, I've used mine with 1x15 plus 2x10.

Heck - I used mine with an old SVT 810 at a practice studio (basement) a few times. Sounded great!

We just introduced a series of cabinets for the 200MB.
112MBE, 200W/4 Ohms.
115MBE, 200W/4 Ohms.

Seems the 115MBE is discontinued? Which is the replacement?

Is it still worthy to get the MB200 + 115 CAB compared to the new MB115?
