gallien krueger.. very dissapointed! !

For over a decade i used a 1001rb head week in, week out. Despite having a terrible grounding issue it never missed a beat.

Just under two years ago i "upgraded" to a fusion 550. Same grounding issue, but I can deal with that. ..

recently the contour pot will shift to any position other than the programmed one and now there is an awful static type interference coming from the pre amp section. Yes, I've changed tubes. ..!!!

My local repair agent wants me to pay for them to inspect it and then pay for a repair.

I understand the warranty is only 12 months, but come on. .. this amp is supposed to be pro level. It should be able to handle a few more years without having to go to the doctors.

Very dissapointing, GK. I wish i hadn't got rid of the 1001.

Yep, no electronic model of anything can be 100% fault free. Email [email protected] and be nice about it (not like displayed here) he may be able to get you taken care of.
By the way it is two years on electronics, one year on speakers in the USA.

You might want to have your bass looked at if two different amps and the same "grounding issue".

I've actually had both my basses checked out and it was established that the head was the issue.

Buzzing goes away when you touch the head, whether a bass is plugged in or not.

Also i borrowed a markbass and ampeg head and no buzzing.

The fusion sounds amazing, just annoying that is starting to spend more time with techs than doing what is supposed to do.

I'll try Jason ans see what he says.

Thanks
