so, ive been thinking of picking a 8 string up...ash body, trans black, rw board maple neck, set neck etc...looks promising, but for the price...what the heck? 450 bucks? I know there have been past threads on these basses, but not really lately...
I can be okay with not the best quality of woods or pickups....anyways, my main concern is the neck....a set neck with 8 strings thats not high quality...will the neck start to warp or tear out of the pocket? likely? no idea what kind of glue they use or anything...kinda my biggest worrie...
