    How is this on bass? Is it more gritty, true OD or is it more mild, warm break up? Any loss of lows?

    To me, it's gritty, raw and pretty loud, not really mild & warm, although some tweaking might get you that. I remember the owner/builder, Patrick Garland putting a capacitor in for me that was better for bass. I thought it sounded pretty good.
