GAS attack !

Hi guys.
I’m having a new GAS attack (again…)

Now I’m thinking about buying a MTD bass, and I’ve checked a huge difference in price between models MTD-535 and MTD KZ5.
I know MTD KZ5 is made in Korea but in my opinion is not enough reason for prices 5 times lower than the MTD-535, so I’m just wondering if any playability and/or sound are real different between these two basses.
Where I live is not easy to find one of these basses so I have to buy it without testing one. That’s why I’m requesting your opinions and basically you guys who have played already these two MTD models, to tell me if I buy a MTD KZ5 I will get another disappointing bass?

I like the sound of my Jazz Bass and MM Stingray but the Tobias Growler was a deception…I don’t want to have another with the MTD KZ5!!!

I have a KZ5. The construction/playability of the bass is great, but the stock electronics left much to be desired, IMO. I spent $400 more to put a Bartolini preamp and Nordstrand pick-ups in the bass. Now it sounds as good as it feels and looks.
