Don't let that slow stroll fool you, they're very fast (shockingly so) when they want to be. And look like cold dead logs to deer when they're still. Nasty bit o' business, that.

Well, I'm not sure that part of Florida needs leash laws... ...then the bigger the gator gets, the bigger the prey they can take. Yeah, deer, cows, the big ones can take almost anything down.
