Geddy’s book will fuel GAS!

As my avatar might suggest, I've been eagerly awaiting this tome. I'll admit the special edition bundles on rush.com are pretty cool, but I've paid less for actual instruments.

As an aside, when I attended the screening of Time Stand Still, they were running trivia questions and factoids before the movie started. One of the questions was "How many basses did Geddy bring on the R40 tour?" I of course got it correct - "D. All of them."

My copy was just delivered!

Right? For that kind of money it was a missed opportunity to include an actual bass. A lovingly-packaged box of Rotos is about the most useful thing in the BigHugeUltra box. Easy pass (unfortunately).

I am, of course, getting the regular book though!

Man I'd love to have this, as Geddy is my main man. But I saw him say that it's dedicated to basses from the 60's and 70's and mainly oddball stuff which I have zero interest in so I can't really justify the price for myself. Hopefully Volume Two will cover his Wal's and Steinbergers!
